Special Thanks

Although we are very thankful for every and each one of you out there, that have supported us in our journey, we wanted to extend a special thanks for the Cairine Wilson, Secondary School for their annual donations to ICFM. The students hosting a fun fair to raise money for the clinic was amazing to witness and touched our hearts in many ways.

As well as the rotary clubs and their special efforts and support, to each and every which one of the rotary clubs, would like to recognize the Rotary Club of Palgrave and of Osoyoos in their continuing support of our clinic, who have managed to really give us much needed boosters. Thank you all again for your generosity, and help.

News Update for I Care For Moms NFP

The Rotary Club of Osoyoos, Kamloops West, The Rivers and Lake Country Interact in British Columbia, Yakima Sunrise and Rotaract, Ellensburg Rotaract and Ellensburg Clubs, Quincy, and other personal supporters in Washington State, USA, are pleased to support the construction of a new Maternal Health Clinic in Liberia.

Canadians and US Rotarians will plan to visit Liberia in the Fall/Winter of 2026 to see the completion of the new clinic building.  Rotary has a district grant program, and it is currently in the Winter of 2026, undergoing the approval process to finalize if the project will be moving forward.

Rotarians and the younger Rotaract and Interact members of Rotary provide service above self to many projects and programs around the world and these folks have decided to focus their efforts on providing access to those in need to a second clinic in Caldwell, Liberia.

Plans to add a program called Days for Girls is also in the planning stages and the hopes are to bring kits for girls and provide training on these hygiene products.  Some Rotarians may be from the medical profession and hope to bring some services in the short time on site to benefit those in need.

All Rotarians involved are from the Rotary District 5060 which encompasses central Washington State and central British Columbia on the west coast of Canada USA.

You can visit www.rotary5060.org for information on our area and Rotary.

Maternal Health Project Caldwell, Liberia, West Africa 2022

Hey Folks,

Thank you for taking a couple of minutes to watch our ICFM update video of 2021. We are so excited to share our progress with you as we near our open doors this year. We are so close, that we can almost taste the breeze that comes beyond exiting a long and very very difficult tunnel to cross. Last few steps to cross that Mile. What we now need, is some startup funds to staff the clinic.

We continue to work on trying to reach our goal of 50,000$. We are aiming to open our doors as soon as we can in 2022. We want to make it count. Together we can make a difference. To make your donations, Please visit our Donate page.

Stay tuned for our upcoming Event, as we will be setting up a fundraiser very soon.

As always, a BIG thanks to all our supporters, and God Bless you and keep you safe, with a lot of love,

Konah and Dianne

Our Founder is back and the clinic is wow

Hey folks, our founder has just come back from Liberia. He had been working, sweating day in day out for over 6 months. While back here in Canada, his partner, best friend and life companion, is holding down the fort with the family. Both their sleeves rolled up, adding brick by brick, painting, setting up the equipment, or making food for the kids, managing the house, or the internals of the Charity, you can see the list is very long, but most importantly their beautiful wonderful dream they are sharing with us, is coming to fruition!

Many thanks to all our supporters!

Hurray! Our first clinic is finally built!

We all face our own challenges in life, and when facing these challenges, every step taken towards success becomes just as important as the next step! With that said, the amount of work we have faced so far, has been in all honesty overwhelmingly daunting. We have been working on this as many of you know, restlessly for years, and giving up was never and will never be  an option, and we know that we still have a lot of tasks left to complete before we can welcome our first patient.

With that said, we think it’s important to take a moment, to catch our breath and enjoy this excellent milestone, as you can see in the pictures listed below our accomplishement so far. We have no doubts that we will get there wih your help! Our current project is aimed to be completed and welcoming patients by 2019.

We will continue to keep you posted, so please come back soon, and don’t forget to please donate!

Clinic is almost done
Clinic is almost done

Thank you in advance for your generous contributions!
