Our vision is to provide pre and post-natal services for mothers and babies in Liberia and other parts of Africa.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to prevent and reduce infant and maternal mortality and morbidity in Liberia/Africa. We aim to do this by building a Maternal Health Birthing Clinic, targeting areas where the need is greatest. These clinics will make medical services available that are beneficial to both mothers and infants.
The Three Pillars of I Care For Moms:
1. Birth Support:
- Providing a safe and welcoming environment during the pre-natal stage.
- Offering a safe and comfortable environment in which women can labour with support and care.
- Providing labour coaching and medical assistance at birth.
2. Medical Intervention:
- Providing ante-natal check-ups and monitoring of pregnant women’s health.
- Labour Monitoring and Assessment
- Birth and Delivery support
- Post -Partum care and support
- Emergency transportation
- After-Birth support and counseling
3. Education:
- Providing a healthy pre and post-maternal lifestyle for mothers and their babies.
- Offering nutritional advice and knowledge during and after pregnancy
- Encouraging breast feeding and supporting healthy infant nutrition
- Providing information to women about contraception and STD’s.
- Pre and post-education, including preparation for parenthood and offering basic information on childbirth.
- Information about labour and caring for mothers and babies
- Provide religious counseling
