News Update for I Care For Moms NFP

The Rotary Club of Osoyoos, Kamloops West, The Rivers and Lake Country Interact in British Columbia, Yakima Sunrise and Rotaract, Ellensburg Rotaract and Ellensburg Clubs, Quincy, and other personal supporters in Washington State, USA, are pleased to support the construction of a new Maternal Health Clinic in Liberia.

Canadians and US Rotarians will plan to visit Liberia in the Fall/Winter of 2026 to see the completion of the new clinic building.  Rotary has a district grant program, and it is currently in the Winter of 2026, undergoing the approval process to finalize if the project will be moving forward.

Rotarians and the younger Rotaract and Interact members of Rotary provide service above self to many projects and programs around the world and these folks have decided to focus their efforts on providing access to those in need to a second clinic in Caldwell, Liberia.

Plans to add a program called Days for Girls is also in the planning stages and the hopes are to bring kits for girls and provide training on these hygiene products.  Some Rotarians may be from the medical profession and hope to bring some services in the short time on site to benefit those in need.

All Rotarians involved are from the Rotary District 5060 which encompasses central Washington State and central British Columbia on the west coast of Canada USA.
